1. Ford EcoSport

In the three years since the EcoSport has been released, there have been two updates on the model. This time around, Ford are likely to be hoping they’ve got it right. With a new and improved face, as well as updated technology and offering the new feature of four wheel drive at the top of the range, Ford have certainly raised the stakes with the latest version of the EcoSport.

A lot of the features that have been part of the redesign aim to improve the quality and comfort of the drive; some of these features include:
● More spacious head and legroom
● Heated seats and steering wheel
● Cruise control
● Speed limiter

Part of the spacious interior is made up of a clever use of space and storage compartments as well asrear seats that can fold and split in two parts and a flip-up cushion that allows the seatbacks to fold entirely flat, perfect for luggage loading.

The tech on the new and enhanced Ford EcoSport offers the Blind Spot Information System which allows the car to sense and alert you of vehicles that are in your blind-spot. With a Bang & Olufsen sound system and the SYNC 3 compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which offers the voice-recognition feature, is available in 8-inch LCD Colour touchscreen. Not only this but the auto start-stop technology helps to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions.

Additionally, the model had a facelift and improved its tech; the engines have also been upgraded. The EcoSport comes with three choices of advanced and innovative engines. Firstly, the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, winner of the International Engine of the Year award six times over. This option offers either 125PS or 140PS, giving you the power of a conventional 1.6-litre engine but with exceptional fuel economy and low CO2 emissions. Secondly, a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine delivers 100PS and CO2 emissions as low as 107g/km. Finally, the Ford EcoSport offers a turbocharged 1.5-litre EcoBlue dieselengine option that offers 125PS of power with CO2 emissions from only 119g/km.

With safety and security being a priority for their customers, the EcoSport is no exception. The car system is made up of technologies and systems that are specifically designed to protect you, your passengers and your vehicle. Features such as: anti-lock brakes, Electronic Stability Control, Tyre pressure monitoring System and Traction Control. The vehicle also includes a fully comprehensive suite of front, side, knee and curtain airbags. This is why the Ford EcoSport has been awarded a 4-star Euro NCAP rating.

2. Jaguar E-Pace

With its muscular bodywork and sculpted bonnet, the new Jaguar E-PACE is not only dynamic but is also an agile SUV with the feel of a coupé. This car has both style and substance, equipped with sleek LEDheadlights and the signature LED rear lights; as a safety feature, you are able to choose from Matrix LEDheadlights with Signature Daytime Running Lights to enhance visibility and safety of the drive.

Not only this, but you can also check fuel levels remotely and keep track of your parked vehicle. A Secure Tracker system automatically alerts you and your car's monitoring centre if someone breaks into your car or moves it illegally.

To boost performance across a large variety of conditions, the AllWheel Drive system controls torque distribution between front and rear axles. The drive torque is balanced across both axles, fully utilizing the available traction from all four of the tyres; along with the Active Driveline feature providing useful rear-wheel drive.
